MAC Knives Reviews & Best Knives

Fate really brought him to success. Who would have thought that in an accident a successful business would emerge. The beginning of this company will accidentally become a bridge to  a discovery of Mr. Tasuo Kobayashi.

He worked as a chef at a restaurant in Chicago when he was still in school way back in the year 1954. There is a moment while he’s sharpening a knife, the young Kobayashi dropped the knife that resulted in a 3 centimetres of damage from its tip. The knife needs a repair not  a restoration due to the damage it incurred. He fixed it by making the tip round and put an edge by the use of whetstone. Since then he noticed the usability improvement of the knife and it helped him more with his job.

In 1958 he returned to Japan and got busy with different activities but he was haunted by the thoughts of the safe round-tipped knives. This pursued him to build the MAC Corporation (MACROCOSMOS). In 1965 he successfully established the company with 2 Patents and the Design since then they’ve already been sold over 30 million times around the world.

The head office is located at Sakai City, Osaka, Japan while the production or factory was in Seki City, Gifu, Japan. So far it has been managed by Mr. Tasuo Kobayashi son, “Mr. Katsuto Kobayashi”.
